SIMULATED HARD WAX INFORMATION - 2006

 

 

*Depending on the state, candidates will either use a hard wax product and wax heater or a simulated hard wax product for the Hair Removal on the Upper Lip section of the Esthetics examination.

The following information is available for states to use if candidates are permitted to use a simulated hard wax product for the Hard Wax Upper Lip section of the Esthetics examination:

 

Simulated hard wax product for Hair Removal on the Upper Lip does not need to remove hair. Simulated hard wax product is available through *Sukar at 1-800-784-2763.

 

*The National Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology does not support or endorse any product or company. There may be other companies that offer simulated hard wax products. Candidates should select products that will enable them to demonstrate all tasks in each service.
